Carlile and Metro SW - a big weekend!

Our swimmers attended the Carlile and Metro SW meets on the weekend.A few of our swimmers doubled up and did both in an attempt to get the cob webs out and get those Q times.
We are so proud to say that the results were overwhelmingly fantastic. Most swims were PBs and the record books and Top 5 times have been given a real shake over the weekend.
Matt acheived 9 PBs from 10 swims (and the non PB was a National Open Q time anyway).Matt added another 3 National Open Q times to his tally at the Metro SW meet so it was a real milestone for him. Andrew acheived 2 new National Open Q times within the space of half an hour at Carlile with the 50m Breast being a real surprise as he had to take off 1 sec!
John Woods swam new State Q times in events he has never qualified for before and swam 6/6 PBs at Metro SW. Our girls, (Elise, Jo, Bec Georgie) all swam PBs in their Freestyles. Jake has continued on from his mega meet at CHRSLD and taken more ttime off his PBs.
Chris Hoare swam a Metro Q time in his 100m Free and nearly negatively split the event! Chris also won the 10 yr 50m Free - an event he already has a State Q time for.
Thank you to Jenny for attending both meets and also to Terry for coming in to join her on the Sunday. Every race is on video for Jen to dissect and work out areas to address and improve on. (kids can't wait for that !)
