10 swimmers represented NCAQ at tis meet. Our swimmers won 7 Gold, 7 Silver and 7 Bronze medals on the day.
It was an opportunity for some of our younger swimmers to shine and so they did. Annalise Bell swam 4 PBs and won a medal of every colour. Her cousin Jarrod Bell swam 100 % PBs and won 4 Gold and 1 Silver medals. Tyler Nott acheived 2 Metro Q times on the day and won 2 Silver and 2 Bronze medals.
Zach Roja continued his great run of form with a Free PB and 1 Gold and 2 Silver medals. Jordan Hood made a return to competition and won 1 Gold and 1 Silver medal and swam 2 PBs. It was great to see Patrick Hardman (1 Bronze and 4 PBs) and Tobin McRae (2 Bronze) in the medals.
Gabby Hannah had a spectacular day swimming 100% PBs and breaking the 40 sec for the 50 free for the 1st time. Metika Collis-Glynn swam 100% PBs and took geat chunks of time off her 100m events.
We would also like to congratulate Thomas Minchew as this was his first ever swim meet! Thomas (who only turned 7 last month) blasted out the cobwebs with a Free PB to start off with and then we knew he would be just fine :)
