NSW State Age 13-18 - Day 1

Day 1 heats
all 9 NCAQ swimmers were in action on Day 1 and we have had a promising start to these championships. Andrew Kennedy and Elise Newman have both made he finals of the 17-18 100 Breast andMatt Spence is reserve for the 17-18 50m Free. All 3 of these swimmers are only 17 in a double age group and Matt has had some time out of the pool so it s all good.
Jo Driscoll swam a PB in her 200 fly which looked a great swim. Jake Baggaley swam a PB iin his 100 Fly and replicated his entry time in the 200 IM. John Woods mistakenly went in on his SC 200 Back time so actually swam nearly a 9 sec LC PB in the event.
Tim Boland swam a solid time in the 100 Breast and is on the comeback trail after a year which has focused on the HSC. Georgie Woods and Bec Kennedy each gave themselves a good chance in the 200 free and 100 Fly respectively but couldn't quite reproduce their PBs - but they gave it their best shot on the day.
